London Aug 29 : ISIS has reportedly released a video showing the beheading of a Kurdish man in order to warn the Iraqi forces fighting against ISIS in Iraq. The ISIS is the successor to Tanzim Qaidat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn—more commonly known as Al-Qaeda in Iraq.
The video is titled “A message in blood” and shows several captured Iraqi soldiers dressed in orange jumpsuits and the victim kneeling on the ground near a mosque in the militant-held city of Mosul before he is beheaded, reported the BBC.
The ISIS warned that other captured soldiers will also be killed if Kurdish leaders keep supporting the U.S. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is the current leader of ISIS.
Kurdish forces from the autonomous region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq have been trying to combat the ISIS and are being backed by U.S. air strikes.
